definition
lenjo modal, 1st place (with lens; seen through view) accessed through interface; as …
notes
le'oi: modal for lenjo. Suitable for use as an option for one of the meanings of the English ‘as’, as in ‘in the role of’. Inspired by Haskell lenses, analogous to this use. le'oi is similar to setai, meaning ‘in form’, and fi'o te jvinu. le'oi focuses more on aspect than other types of correspondences, such using the more general modals tai (or fi'o mapti a bit more rigidly, possibly in a tanru) to express ‘as’, similarity, manners, conformance, proportionalities (suggestion: fi'o te parbi as in ‘for each’ or ‘per’), concurrence (e.g. in time), degree/extent (see sela'u, du'i, or fi'o kuspe), ‘in the sense of’ (see fi'o smuni), or other types. Note: This proposed experimental cmavo costs 5 letters and a slot in 5-letter space, a relatively short word which can often be more efficiently allocated for more frequent, important, or fitting use. Alternative, better designs or more efficient allocations can be proposed, possibly in a forked standard or dictionary.

ni'o Synonym: setai. See also: semai'ai (ki'irmapti).

ni'o Example without modal: «lo terle'o be le spofu toknu bei loka nabypalne zbasu cu se vamji cmalu .ijeku'i lo terle'o be fi loka fagri cfagau cu mutce certu» - — As a pie-maker, the broken oven was of little worth, but as a fire starter, it was very good at it. ni'o Example with modal: «lo nacmei be le'oi loka se clalai cu pamei se cimde» — As a magnitude, a vector is one-dimensional.
