Refers to a particular, infamous cultural phenomenon in the Lojban community wherein many conversations between speakers in or tangential to Lojban tend to very quickly devolve into an argument over grammar, semantics, or usage, with the result that it becomes difficult if not impossible to hold an ordinary conversation in the language on any subject in forums where this behavior is not explicitly discouraged.
