New Sentence Links

When adopting the Simplified Connective Reform, the cmavo in selma'o A (with ji reassigned to selma'o JA/JOI) becomes redundant and unused. The New Sentence Link reform, called .ajbo in lojban, proposes a way to reallocate selma'o A for convenience of speaking.

When speaking in .ajbo, the cmavo .a, .e, .o, and .u are reallocated to be in selma'o I, along with the current sentence link cmavo .i.

• .a becomes a sentence link which notes the following bridi is a question, and is equivalent to .i pau
• .e becomes a sentence link indicating a close connection with the topic of the previous bridi, and is equivalent to .i ji'a
• .o becomes a sentence link with an imperative mood, indicating the following is a command, and is equivalent to .i ko'oi
• .u becomes a sentence link marking contrast with the previous bridi, and is equivalent to .i ku'i

While using this reform, sentence separation becomes much more varied, but is still easily recognizable by the use of any vowel standing alone.
