x₁ measures x₂ bels/nepers (logarithm of ratio of field quantities/powers with the reference quantity value as denominator/divisor), on scale x₃ (si'o), in logarithmic base x₄.

notes

x1 should be a field quantity or a power; it is sumti raising to supply an object as the sumti of the first terbri. x3 should incorporate a description of what field quantity is the reference quantity and what its associated reference value/measure in terms of these units is, what the meaning of a change in 1 bel/neper means, which direction indicates a relative increase in the field quantity (typically: toward positive infinity), and other information (for example, the ISQ defines 1 Np = 1); x2 can be any real number but must be pure (dimensionless).
